Eine Führung in der schönen Stadt Chiavari, wo jeden Tag der Obst und Gemüse Markt in der Piazza del Mercato vorbereitet wird. Gemüse aus der Gegend, aber auch Käse, Bord, Focaccia und viele andere köstliche Sachen kann man sehen (und probieren!) Chiavari hat eine entzückende Altstadt mit Arkaden, Palazzi aus Schieferstein, nette kleine Geschäfte und eine wunderschöne Kathedrale. Verbringen wir den Vormittag auf der Entdeckung von Chiavari. Danach Freizeit um die Atmosphäre und das Flair zu genießen.
Gegen Mittag fahren wir nach Sestri Levante, eine echte Perle und romantische Stadt. Hier spazieren wir zum Gasthaus „La Sciamadda“ wo mit Mörser und Kraft den echten Pesto alla Genovese vorbereiten werden.
Unter der Aussicht des Küchenchefs bereiten wir unseren Pesto vor und mit einem Glas Wein wird die Arbeit umso lustiger. Und danach gibt es natürlich die richtige Trofiette mit Pesto die wir als echter Genuss endlich schmecken können.
